  • About 80 MB of disk space
  • Accessibility + Screen Recording permission (set on first run)

First-time setup

  1. 1Download the DMG and open it.
  2. 2Drag MARINA.app to your Applications folder.
  3. 3Open it once from Applications — Gatekeeper will ask to confirm.
  4. 4Click the leaf icon in the menubar → Pair this device, then enter the 6-digit code from Settings → Devices on the web app.

  • .NET runtime auto-installed by the installer if missing

First-time setup

  1. 1Download MARINA-Setup.exe and run it.
  2. 2If SmartScreen pops up, click "More info" → Run anyway. We're signed but still building reputation with Microsoft.
  3. 3MARINA starts in your system tray (bottom-right, click the ^ to expand).
  4. 4Right-click the leaf icon → Pair this device, then enter the 6-digit code from Settings → Devices on the web app.

Lightweight

Single binary, lives in the menubar / system tray. Less than 0.2% CPU at idle.

Private by default

Window titles are off by default. Screenshots only if you opt in. Pause anytime.

Cross-platform

Mac and Windows feel identical — same shortcuts, same break dialog, same Done log.
